The superb panoramic view from the top of Minaun Heights is one of the highlights of anyone's visit to Achill Island.  

Croaghaun is the most westerly peak of Achill Island, and its highest mountain. There are cliffs on the northern slope of the mountain.

Slievemore is in the centre of the northern coastline of The Island, and will be in view almost constantly as you travel around Achill.
